Sketchbook Social is a weekly drawing room for artists, non-artists, habitual doodlers, rusty beginners, and anyone who wants to spend a few hours looking more closely.
Bring your own sketchbook and favorite tools, or use the basic shared materials available that night. Work on a personal project, draw from prompts or objects in the room, trade techniques when conversation happens naturally, or simply sit near other people making marks. There is no critique circle, no required sharing, and no pressure to produce a finished piece.
This is a soft social rather than a formal class. Come late, leave when you need to, and work at your own pace while respecting the quiet concentration of others. Messy, solvent-based, strongly scented, or space-intensive materials require advance approval.
