We do not send marketing text messages unless you have provided any consent required by law. Standard message and data rates may apply when text messaging is used.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website is hosted on the Wix platform. Wix uses cookies and similar technologies for essential website operation, security, fraud detection, session management, system stability, performance, and member identification.

Depending on the features and integrations active on the website, additional cookies or technologies may be used for:

  • Website preferences and functionality.

  • Analytics and performance measurement.

  • Registration, membership, store, booking, or payment functions.

  • Embedded maps, videos, audio, calendars, or social-media content.

Because website tools and integrations can change, the specific cookies used may change over time. The cookie controls or consent panel, when available, should be consulted for the most current information.

6. How We Share Information

ELT does not rent personal information to mailing-list brokers or sell personal information for money.

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

We will not provide an unrelated partner with your contact information for its independent marketing without appropriate notice or consent.

Legal, Safety, and Compliance Disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, or other lawful process.

  • Respond to a government or regulatory request.

  • Protect the rights, safety, property, or security of ELT or another person.

  • Investigate fraud, abuse, threats, harassment, security incidents, or unlawful activity.

Organizational Changes

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, transfer of assets, or similar business transaction. Any recipient would be expected to handle the information consistently with applicable law and the commitments in effect at the time of transfer.

7. Advertising and Sale of Information

As of the effective date of this policy, ELT has not configured its website for the sale of personal information or for the intentional disclosure of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party services, embedded content, analytics tools, or social-media platforms may independently collect information under their own privacy policies. Visitors should review the privacy controls and policies provided by those services.

If ELT’s practices materially change, this policy and any legally required opt-out controls will be updated.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, contractual, accounting, safety, archival, and legal needs.

Retention may depend on factors such as:

  • Whether an inquiry or request remains active.

  • Whether you maintain an account or continuing relationship with ELT.

  • Whether a transaction, rental, agreement, registration, or payment record must be retained.

  • Whether information is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement.

  • Applicable tax, accounting, insurance, limitation-period, or recordkeeping requirements.

  • Whether you remain subscribed to a communication.

  • Whether retention is reasonably necessary to protect ELT or another person.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it. Backup systems and legal archives may retain limited copies for an additional period.

When you unsubscribe from marketing email, we may retain a limited suppression record so that your preference can continue to be honored.

9. Data Security

ELT uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include:

  • Access controls.

  • Account authentication.

  • Secure website connections.

  • Platform security tools.

  • Restricted access to operational records.

  • Appropriate use of cloud and payment providers.

  • Data minimization.

  • Record-retention and deletion practices.

  • Review of suspected security incidents.

No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use a strong, unique password for any account and should not send highly sensitive information through ordinary email or general website forms.

If we identify a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and provide any notices required by applicable law.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to request that we:

  • Confirm whether we maintain personal information about you.

  • Provide access to certain personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete certain information.

  • Provide a portable copy of certain information.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.

  • Opt out of promotional communications.

  • Opt out of a legally defined sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising use.

  • Review or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

ELT may choose to honor reasonable access, correction, or deletion requests even when a particular privacy law does not require it.

To submit a request, email ErieLaborTemple@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy Request or mail the request to the address listed below.

Please describe the request clearly and identify the email address or interaction involved. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use information provided for verification only for that purpose and for documenting our response.

Some information may be retained or withheld when permitted or required by law, including records needed for transactions, taxes, contracts, security, fraud prevention, legal claims, or another person’s privacy.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

11. Children’s Privacy

The ELT website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without any parental notice or consent required by law. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the website should contact us so that we can review and, when appropriate, delete the information.

Youth participation in an ELT program may be governed by separate registration, permission, supervision, safety, or media-consent procedures.

12. Accessibility and Sensitive Information

An accessibility request may reveal information about a person’s access needs. ELT will use information provided in an accommodation request to understand the request, communicate with the requester, and identify a practical response.

You are not required to provide a diagnosis. Please provide only the information necessary to explain the barrier or requested accommodation.

Information involving safety, minors, harassment, discrimination, building access, or another sensitive issue may be shared with a limited number of responsible people when necessary to address the matter.

13. Third-Party Websites and Embedded Services

The website may link to or display content from third parties, including:

  • Ticketing or registration platforms.

  • Payment processors.

  • Patreon or other supporter platforms.

  • Social-media services.

  • Video, audio, map, calendar, or media providers.

  • Partner, artist, instructor, sponsor, tenant, or vendor websites.

Third parties control their own privacy and security practices. This Privacy Policy does not govern information collected directly by an outside service.

Opening a third-party link, playing embedded media, interacting with a social feature, or completing a transaction on another platform may allow that service to collect information about you. Review that service’s privacy policy before submitting information.

14. Visitors Outside the United States

ELT is based in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States. Information collected through the website may be processed or stored in the United States or in other countries where Wix and other service providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. When required, service providers may use contractual or other legal safeguards for international data transfers.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy when the website, ELT’s programs, service providers, data practices, or applicable laws change.

The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, email, or another reasonable method when appropriate or legally required.

Your continued use of the website after an updated policy becomes effective means that the updated policy will apply to information collected after that date, subject to applicable law.
