An Experimental Squid Ink Workshop with Edizu
Paint with a medium that behaves like a living shadow.
Artist and instructor Edizu will guide participants through squid ink’s smoke-gray washes, velvety blacks, blue-black tones, dramatic plumes, and razor-sharp edges. Learn to control dilution, diffusion, pooling, layering, and expressive mark-making while creating an original noir-inspired artwork.
Beginners are welcome. All art materials, guided instruction, light refreshments, and Romolo chocolates are included.
