About the event
Make a book together. STAB BINDING // FAMILY MATINEE is a collaborative BOOKFORGE session built for younger makers and adults working side by side—not a drop-off class.
Each maker completes one Four-Hole (Yotsume Toji) Japanese notebook in class while learning the basic logic of paper preparation, punching, thread path, sewing order, tension, corner turns, and knot placement.
Every maker also leaves with materials and an illustrated handout for a Noble Binding to continue at home. No previous bookbinding experience is required. All tools and materials are included.
