Jam & Slam
August 24, 2026 at 6:00:00 PM
Every Monday · 6:00–10:00 PM
Jam & Slam is a room-fluid, self-directed night for music, poetry, spoken word, lyrics, improvisation, and whatever happens when those forms collide. Come alone, bring a band, form one for the night, find collaborators, work on your own, or move between rooms and groups as the evening develops. Musicians can jam together, poets can test new work, spoken-word artists can work with live accompaniment, and nobody is required to perform. This is not a scored poetry slam: no judges, no brackets, no required stage time. Bring your own instrument or use an ELT instrument when one is designated for participant use. The point is simple: show up, make noise, make words, find people, and see what happens.
