BOOKFORGE Workshops

Hands-on traditional bookbinding techniques.

BOOKFORGE Workshops introduce participants to the structure, materials, and enduring craft of making books by hand. Through focused, hands-on instruction, participants learn traditional and contemporary binding techniques while creating journals, sketchbooks, artist books, decorative papers, and other useful objects.

Workshops are designed for beginners, curious makers, artists, writers, and anyone interested in learning how paper, thread, board, cloth, and careful construction become a finished book. Each session emphasizes practical skill, strong craftsmanship, and the satisfaction of leaving with something made by hand.
