URBAN HATCH // WORKING PROOF 01

01 // BOLT PATTERN — FIRST IMPRESSION
Not everything worth printing has a name on it.
This early Urban Hatch proof captures a partial impression of a standard bolt-pattern utility cover. Hexagonal shapes, heavy industrial geometry, and uneven areas of ink become something different when separated from the street and transferred to paper.
There is no Erie Labor Temple overprint on this piece. Just the original utility-cover impression, with all the inconsistencies of an experimental hand-pulled print.
A straightforward piece of working infrastructure, seen differently.
